These are the memoirs of a nobody Dutch immigrant who traveled the world as a musician and then taught show business in college followed by selling real estate in Las Vegas during the epic boom and being financially ruined by the historic collapse that ensued, who in the meantime had a career as a commercial pilot derailed by a congenital heart defect resulting in four open heart surgeries over an 18 year period with a hip replacement thrown in for good measure all whilst becoming a world-renown authority on the Scrabble word game. (Breathe, Bob, breathe ...) I’ll also throw in my thoughts on politics, religion, sports, assholes, the internet, health, Americans, the medical system and much much more. Damn—this is no longer a memoir—it’s an infomercial . . . Oh—and to keep things entertaining, everything you’re about to read is delivered in a brutally honest no holds barred humorous and caustic style featuring plenty of clever and witty repartee! Just think of me as George Carlin without the ponytail and eff-bombs. These are my memoirs—except that instead of waiting until I’m old and decrepit, my memory gone with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peeling knocking on deaths’ doorstep, I’m doing this while I still can!
