The Pisarean Dilemma is a novel that celebrates ethnic diversity, after all that’s what the universe will be when inhabited planets and alien races are eventually discovered...and they will be. The Pisareans have a dilemma. On their planet the tribes work in unity to maintain an efficient and harmonious society. They knew of Earth’s existence but to be honest, Eartheans were of little concern to them. That is until they found out Earth was dying. The warmongering Eartheans had finally done it, they killed their own planet. The Pisareans had to make a decision. Do they reveal themselves and save the Eartheans, or do they let the people of Earth suffer what some considered the inevitable consequence of their violent nature...death? The Pisarean Dilemma is just that, a dilemma. Should an advanced race of aliens save the people of a dying Earth? Technically, whatever your answer, you have a fifty-fifty chance of being correct; yes or no. However, this isn’t a coin toss. Regardless of your response, the interesting question is ‘why’, and the more you ask why, the more uncertain your answer becomes. The three letter word cost time, contention, and lives.
