Throughout his adult life, Bruce has devoted his life to working with the YMCA. He had been involved in several national YMCA Christian conferences. He recently retired as the director of the Kernersville, NC YMCA but still serves on the Board of Directors. Mr. Boyer is often called on to give speeches locally as well as across the United States. He writes a weekly devotional, as a personal ministry, which he shares with a large number of followers.
