E. Stephen Roberts has been a Pastor for over 25 years. He has served in a diverse variety of community settings in the United States, from the rural small-town church setting to the mid-sized city. He is (for 17 years) been the Senior Pastor of Garfield Park Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois where he oversees the combined pastorates of seven associate pastors and their ministries. Pastor Roberts is a gifted and prolific writer, preacher and teacher. He and the Garfield Park Baptist Church produce a weekly telecast "Arise and be Blessed" that airs on the Total Living Network and goes into 2.5 million households prime-time in Chicago and the surrounding vicinity, including parts of Indiana and western Michigan. Pastor Roberts attended Great Lakes Bible College. He has been an instructor to hundreds of pastors who attend pastors' conferences at the American Baptist Assemblies in Green Lakes, Wisconsin.
