Biografía del autor:
Alicia Coston was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a child, she discovered she had three talents. Her father passed down two of them which were singing and drawing. But the third-Alicia's uncanny magic with words-remained the most prevalent. She wrote and illustrated her first book at the tender age of eight, but it wouldn't be long before Alicia realized that children's books no longer intrigued her. After sneaking off to read her first adult fiction,"Daddy was a Number Runner," Alicia continued her creative writing into her teens with intentions of entertaining and touching the emotions of others. She did so through poetry, spoken word, and short stories. By that time, Alicia also became a songwriter as she put lyrics to the music that her brother, producer KayCost, created. Alicia pursued a psychology degree at Old Dominion University for a few years before realizing that a practical career would not dismiss her passion for writing. Her college experience did help Alicia to begin weaving short tales that invoked thought and intrigue. While working as a supervisor at a non-profit organization for the mentally disabled and cleaning houses on the side, Alicia began to fulfill her dream of becoming an author. She finished writing her first book in six months. When she is not answering questions about her debut erotic thriller "She's Killin' Me," she performs in a hip hop group as Lanae Jewalz with her partner, JusBiznes (together they are DiverCity). Alicia strives to receive a grant to begin a creative writing and music program for at-risk youth. She currently resides in Virginia Beach where she runs her own publishing company, Indigo Press.
