Sent to the Francophone world as a missionary, the author saw that the French are people with broken hearts, the kind that only Christ can repair. They suffer from a lack of love. Strange that the people known for love can't find it. Destined For Love is directed toward the healing of love lost. God loves us with an astonishing, exorbitant, intense and at the same time gentle love. His compassion goes beyond anything humanity knows. Yet to know this love of God humanity must settle the question once and for all: Does God love me? When that is resolved the book takes the reader to the next step of learning man's role in love and how to pass it on. Love cannot be gained without also giving it away thus creating a perpetual motion of love. There is in the New Testament an overlooked commandment. It's called the Law of Christ. Going beyond the Ten Commandments, going beyond the basic Two, Jesus tells us to love one another so that the world will know we belong to Him. The book climaxes by investigating this commandment, the law our Lord gives to His Body. Therein is the key to the message of Christ. We think we are waiting on God, but He is waiting on us to supply the fruit. Fruit means love.
