Reseña del editor:
MASONRY HAS ITS TENTACLES IN EVERY PLACE AND AMONG all races and creeds. It exerts its influence everywhere in the churches, in the legislative halls, in rap music and the entertainment industry, in civil, as well as criminal cases; in arbitrations, references, trials by jury, before justices of the peace, and in the higher courts.... Masonry boasts of Christians, Jews; and of numerous Catholic priests as being enrolled in its Lodges. Yes, Catholic priests! One will find high-level Freemasons in control in the Christian seminaries (both Catholic and Protestant), in colleges, and universities, on management boards of Christian television and radio stations, and in almost all the large church organisations. In this book, P.D. Stuart takes a fresh look at the origins of Freemasonry and emerges with something really new, something truly worth the attention of every thinking man, woman, teenage boy and girl. Of the various early writers who have fearlessly used pens and intelligence in dispensing floods of light and knowledge, exposing the tendency and aims of Freemasonry, are Henry Dana Ward, of New York, and Elder John G. Stearns, of Oneida County. These gifted and enlightened men, writes James Crieghton Odiorne, were once members of the masonic fraternity. They had, however, sifted its pretensions, and eschewed its principles, previous to the murder of Morgan. The writings of these gentlemen ought to be speedily procured and extensively circulated through every town in the State. We hazard nothing in saying, that no intelligent man or mason can read Mr. Ward s volume, entitled, Freemasonry, without being convinced that the institution is a rank imposture and dangerous cheat.... The influence of the fraternity has impeded, and continues to impede, the course of justice, and the offenders stalk abroad in the community, cherished and supported by the institution, unmolested and unpunished. The secrets and principles of the institution, which have been fully exposed, are positively and undeniably bad and dangerous. The author combines scholarly research and compelling storytelling in tracing Freemasonry as a worldwide political, religious, economic and social body, outwardly dedicated to self-improvement and charitable causes, but governed by sinister secret rituals and using signs (explained here in detail) to identify each other for largely lawless purposes. Many Masonic individuals will claim the information on Freemasonry in this book to be inaccurate. But the fatal exposé of Freemasonry found in the pages of this volume are all supported by the most credible Masonic authors and historians, with full citations of the quotes used. Yet, Freemasonry and its supporters insist that masonry is entirely and solely aimed at charitable objectives. But, as P.D. Stuart shows in this tremendous volume, that claim by masonry is a hypocrisy that might shame Satan himself ! What does the author mean by all of this? In the pages of this book the reader shall have amble cause to see. In 1830, James Creighton Odiorne wrote in his Opinions on speculative masonry: Freemasonry is deeply anxious to conceal the truth in relation to herself and her steadfast votaries. It will require much zeal and labor to expose and dissipate the falsehoods and delusions which the fraternity has so industriously spread abroad. Time and truth, however, will ultimately encompass these ends. All there is of Freemasonry, pertaining to the lodges, chapters, and encampments, may be gathered from Morgan s Illustrations, and the Le Roy Revelations. But the inquirer for real Freemasonry, divested of its gaudy trappings, and its traditional fable, must seek out other sources of information.
