The illustration within the text are drawn from a sixteenth-century woodcut, Sandy's Relation of a Journey, 1673, and a Catalan atlas of 1385. Seamus Heaney contributes 'Stone from Delphi', one of a total of nineteen poems. A book in Very Good condition with scuffing to the edges of the limp card covers but no loss.
