Condición: Near Fine. First Edition, numbered 466/5,000 limited run (please note this number is not the same as one depicted in accompanying photo from an identical copy). This edition is signed by Keith Richards (The Rolling Stones), George Clapton, Adam Cooper, Sandy Lieberson, Anita Pallenberg, Derek Taylor, Bill Wyman, Peter Blake, Allen Jones, Terry Doran, Stash Klossowski, and Colin Self. The edition typically came with 368pp. but this edition is missing all pages after 352 (16 missing pages), presumably due to a printing error. This error, along with the slight wear, has been reflected in the pricing. The book is in Near Fine condition, with the exception of a small area between the flyleaf and title page, where remnants of the publisher's adhesive suggest that these two pages were once firmly bound together. Accompanied by the original handmade silkscreen box with a sliding blind revealing a photograph unique to each copy (this one is of a young Mick Jagger). This silkscreen box has damage to the bottom portion: there is some tearing to the upper left corner and to the lower left corner along with some very minor scuffing and edge-wear. Due to the book's size and heft, international pricing must be arranged prior to purchase. Please inquire. Referred to as "the most stupendous rock and roll picture book ever assembled' by USA Today. Over 600 photographs and 30,000 word text from 93 music icons that took nearly half a decade to compile. This is the First Printing in the First Printing binding, not the special anniversary binding released later. The First Printing was launched in celebration of 45 phenomenal years of publishing excellence by Genesis. No dust jacket issued; accompanied by silkscreen box Quarto, original black morocco and yellow buckram Deluxe Limited Signed and Number 466/5000. Nº de ref. del artículo: 4846

Enclosed in a fine silkscreened solander box, with an image inset on the top, each book's is different. This inset picture is, we believe, of a young Ronnie Wood, of The Faces, and latter the Rolling Stones, from a photograph on p.71of the book. Forewords by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards; Introduction by Terry Southern; Consultancy by Bill Wyman. The most stupendous rock and roll picture book ever assembled. Michael Cooper's superb photographs provide a unique insider's view of the Sixties. It was a prolific and exhilarating period of artistic cross-fertilization. For the first time in Britain the class barriers were really down; in London, everyone seemed to know everyone, and we were unaware how close The Rolling Stones and the Beatles were. Through his association with Robert Fraser and the Stones and The Beatles, Michael met the artists, writers, poets and musicians of the time and the courtiers around them. He introduced these people to each other. Many of those who brilliantly lit up the decade on both sides of the Atlantic were photographed by him. His most well known photographic assignment was the album cover for The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. A beautiful set and scarce when signed by George Harrison.
