Part of a National Trust property, the unaltered 17th-century house is noted for its Jacobean architecture and fine Georgian interior. Outside the house are a walled garden, an orangery and orchards. Robert Ketton-Cremer bequeathed the house and grounds to The National Trust in 1969. The hall is Grade I on the National Heritage List for England. Most of the grounds are a Site of Special Scientific Interest. This is a wonderful story of a once great home. Ketton Cremer does justice to Felbrigg and the interesting families who took possession of it. Accompanied by useful photographs that give the reader an insight into the personalities and exquisite furnishings. Sadly times have done away with such homes and such interesting eccentricities as one finds threaded throughout Ketton-Cremer's account. Ref XXX 3. Nº de ref. del artículo: 023531
