The Authors: William L. Benoit is Professor of Communication at the University of Missouri. He received his Ph.D. in communication from Wayne State University.
Kevin A. Stein is an Assistant Professor at Southern Utah University. He received his Ph.D. in communication from the University of Missouri.
John P. McHale is an Assistant Professor at Illinois State University. He received his Ph.D. in communication from the University of Missouri.
Sumana Chattopadhyay is an Assistant Professor at Marquette University. She received her Ph.D. in communication from the University of Missouri.
Rebecca Verser is a doctoral candidate at the University of Missouri. She received her M.A. in communication from the University of Arkansas.
Stephen Price is a doctoral candidate at the University of Missouri. He received his M.A. in radio and television from San Francisco State University.
