Peterson (1908-1988) was Deputy Director of Psychological Warfare in Southeast Asia, Director-General of Information Services for the Federation of Malaya, Director of Education at Oxford University, and Director-General of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. His works include The Far East (1948), Educating Our Rulers (1957), The Future of Education (1968), and The International Baccalaureate (1972). He was awarded the Order of the British Empire and made an Honorary Doctor of Pedagogy by the University of Trieste. Foreword by Prince Charles, His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales.
