This new format is an updated version of Chronicle's blank wire-o journals. Hardcover, with a bound spine, it's the perfect size: small enough to be stashed in a shoulder bag or carried by hand, but large enough so there's plenty of space to write. The cover imagery is by bestselling photographer Deborah Schenck, but it's a new, modern twist on her classic flower images, which fits perfectly with the sleek and sophisticated feel of the journal.

Deborah Schenck likes to take walks with her husband and her golden retrievers, collecting berries and flowers along the way for use in her beautiful photographs. She was drawn several years ago to the process of "Polaroid transfer," by which a photographic image is transferred to parchment paper rather than photographic paper. Originally from England, where she worked as a professional photographer, Deborah Schenck currently resides in Vermont.
