Descripción Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. John Newlove (1938-2003) was a Canadian poet whose work reached its height of popularity in the 1960s and 1970s. In 1972 he won the Governor General's prize for Poetry for this collection, entitled Lies. The anthology contains sixty-seven poems centred on the idea that people are capable of and inclined to self-deception. This copy is in Very Good condition with a dust jacket also in Very Good condition. It appears to have been an advanced reader copy, and includes some pencil notes from the reviewer.
