Margot Van Voorhies was an American in the mid-twentieth century who went to Taxco, Mexico, and established a jewelry design business best known for exquisite enamel work. Penny C. Morrill, PhD, has written several books on the history of modern Mexican silver and has assisted in establishing the permanent silver collection at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the archive at Tulane University's Latin American Library.
