Biografía del autor:

Beatrix Potter is one of the world's best-loved children's authors of all time. From her first book, The Tale of Peter Rabbit (1902) she went on to create a series of stories based around animal characters including Mrs Tiggy-winkle, Mr Jeremy Fisher and Tom Kitten. Her humorous, lively tales and beautiful illustrations have become a natural part of childhood.

A source of inspiration was the Lake District where she lived for the last thirty years of her life as a farmer and conservationist.

Reprint 1986.- "Another charming tale by Beatrix Potter about being too kind and letting others take advantage of your kindness and good nature. Enter the world of animals that talk, wear clothes and shop in stores. Young readers will delight in the author's soft watercolor illustrations. Recommended by The Gunston Trust for Nonviolence in Children's Literature. Ages 5-8. . Now, with all the original text in a fully illustrated Worthington Press edition, Beatrix Potter's animal stories have been a joy to generations of young readers. Her warm, playful illustrations in soft colors invite children into the world of words and flights of fancy. Once there, she gently and humorously guides readers along the path of righteousness, leaving just enough room for children to wonder if that incorrigible Peter will be back in McGregor's garden tomorrow.
