Reseña del editor:
When sisters, Deborah & Nancy, discovered that motherhood was a temp job they decided to run away from home. It happened right after the kids moved out and Nancy's husband found her weeping nostalgically in front of the acne wipes, while Deborah's husband arrived home to find she'd put their house up for sale. It was painful to go to the supermarket to grab and then slowly put back all of the things they no longer needed: peanut butter, popsicles, pony tail ties. There is no escaping the sadness and loss when being with your family is no longer the nightly norm, but something you have to plan. 2 BROADS ABROAD is a funny, irreverent, occasionally poignant travel tale of Deborah & Nancy's impulsive and unexpectedly comic road trip around Ireland; an adventure that taught them exactly how to kick that empty nest out of their path and reset their horizons.
