The Art of Disillusionment by David Synn is an offering of “pornography or salvation” for the streetwise melancholy. David Synn directs us to look at the harsh reality of human existence by diverting our glance inward to our lives tortured by self inhumanity. This glimpse into our mongrel selves and societal decay is expressed in a melodic cadence of words escaping print and entering the mind like a song. With four self released original albums under his belt, David Synn is no stranger to writing. His words reveal necessary truths of which anyone can relate. Drawing inspiration from pop culture, relationships and personal introspection, he writes in a rhythm all his own, reflecting his influences in performance art.
