Reel to Real is a guide to help adults and youth create innovative learning opportunities using videos or current and classic movies that are available on video. Movies are selected which both interest youth and which offer insights into life and faith. Reel to Real includes a variety of program options (viewing an entire film, segment of a film, or segments of several films) and a variety of settings (classroom, youth group, retreat). It promotes discussion, fellowship, and community among members of the youth group as teens view and discuss the films. Reel to Real can be used to supplement other youth curriculum or to give to substitute youth worker for an easy session. Four new volumes will appear each year; one every three months.
