Thomas Richard Joiner has trained in what is arguably one of martial art’s preeminent styles and advanced to the level of Kyoshi 6th Dan in the Chinese Goju System. He is the recipient of the University of Martial Arts and Science Humanitarian Award for Notable Achievement and Excellence in Holistic Medicine; and was inducted into the Chinese Goju Hall of Fame by Grandmaster Shidoshi Ron Van Clief in 1994, and became a member of Chinese Goju International in 2013.
