Reseña del editor:
“April is the cruelest month,” wrote T. S. Eliot and for Lenny it has been a year full of cruel months since he caught his wife under the covers with their neighbor ~ a year complicated by the inexplicable disappearance of his new friend Claudia and ending with the slaughter of Diane Jenkins, the wife of his current client. Only hours before Diane’s death, she arrives intoxicated at Lenny’s beach cottage and seduces him against his finer instincts. Now, the detective is a prime suspect. His former LAPD partner Collins is outraged, though a tenacious feeling gets hold of him. Do I know my friend as well as I thought I did? While attempting to rescue his missing girl, avenge Diane’s murder and prove his innocence, Lenny finds himself implicated by the LAPD in a mystery that intertwines the lives of three disparate couples from L.A. to Zurich in pursuit of a psychopathic killer.
Biografía del autor:
As a new author and avid reader of mystery books, I have spent the past five years creating and honing my first detective novel, Butcher of Venice. Born and raised in Switzerland, I met my future husband on a vacation trip and moved to Los Angeles, where I completed four years of Fine Art studies at UCLA. During the ensuing 30-year art career, I enjoyed recognition in multi-plate landscape etchings with international distribution. I'm presently at work on a second suspense novel, Terror at Sea.
