The Amazing Adventures of Radish Toe, a narrative poem imbued with mythic content, is a loose retelling of the fairy tale Rapunzel. Children and adults with a youthful, playful attitude can follow the adventures of the lovable monkey, Radish Toe as she is kidnapped from her family and friends by a devious snake. Of course, she is eventually rescued by; the hero--a brave, loyal giraffe. The story features talking animals, exotic settings, impossible situations, and beautifully descriptive language while communicating the importance of friendships and how right-mindenness can prevail over misfortune. "The appeal of this story is its archetypal significance," observes Momi. "We meet the theme of innocence redeemed again and again in world literature."
