Mr. Campbell was Chief Marketing Officer for Champion Office Products, a $200 million division of Champion International with 23 locations and worked in strategic planning for the company. In addition, he has co-founded a weekly newspaper, launched a publishing company on famous American entrepreneurs, served as a consultant on ocean issues and co-authored Major Issues of the Law of the Sea (University of New Hampshire Press). Since 1984 he has been President and Co-owner of Sylvan Learning Center of Darien (CT) with his wife Gwynne, a professional center that offers individualized tutoring programs for K-12 students in reading, math/algebra, writing, study skills, SSAT and SAT preparation. He helped establish Sylvan's national advertising, and co-founded and served as Vice Chairman of the Franchise Owner's Association.
