The "Foundation History" series provides simplified versions of the five Core Study Units for use with less able pupils at Key Stage 3. In each full-colour book, the text, written sources and questions have been reduced and simplified to meet the needs of lower ability pupils. Otherwise, the books follow the same structure as their counterparts in the "Heinemann History Study Units" series, allowing both series to be used together for a wide range of abilities. This resource pack contains one photocopiable worksheet for every unit in the corresponding pupil book. The worksheets offer a variety of activities ranging from simple activities, like wordsearches and crosswords, to more demanding tasks like looking at war poetry. Many of the worksheets provide additional sources enabling pupils to develop their skills of interpretation.
