Rowena Vincent, Warrior Princess and teenage runaway, flees her Newcastle home to trace her missing dad in Dublin, armed only with an old photograph. Chrissie Glazebrook lives in a tumbledown terraced house in Newcastle upon Tyne and works as a Literature Officer at Northern Arts, the regional arts board for the north of England. She recently gained an MA in Creative Writing (with distinction) and won the Waterstones' Prize for Prose.
