Upon the return of the military units from abroad and from the camps at home, it was found that a larger committee would be advisable in order to present a record that had a personal touch. Military histories soon appeared which made it unnecessary to hurry the work. Publication was delayed until accurate information was available. In the meantime the personnel of the committee was slightly changed. Lieut. Oliver J. Keller moved from the City and could no longer serve. Prof. V. W. Dippell and Colonel D. B. Strickler were added.
