Zu dieser Annahme fühle ich mich durch den soeben erwähnten Befund bestimmt, nach dem, wie erwähnt, der rechte Flügel der hier beschriebenen Stubenfliege an seiner Endstelle noch mit dem Rumpfe innig verschmolzen ist. Dieser Fall, insoweit er auch bei der normalen Entwicklung vorkommen sollte, scheint mir die Beantwortung der Frage nach der Entstehung der Flügel im Sinne Fritz Müllers mit der vorhin geäußerten Einschränkung zulässig zu machen.
