Primis septem ea enarrantur, quae acci derunt inde ab obitu regis Minäs seu Admas Sagad (febr. 1 563) usque ad regis Malak Sagad solemnem coronae impositionem in ecclesia principali urbis Aksum (ianuar. Scripta est haec historiae nostrae sectio prima rage Malak Sagad iubente; et sane in urbe Aksum statim post regiao coronae impositionem. Auctor ex auditu et visu narrat: nonnulla e regis ore acceperat (p. 8 non semel testes, e quibus res gestas audiverat, laudat of. P. 8, 13 31, 3h); multa et ipse viderat. Regis enim Malak Sagad comes fuit, tumin oula cum in bellicis expeditionibus, saltem ab anno sexto eius regni (cf. P. 112, v. Immo ab anno quarto, si 'lectionem codicis Oxoniensis (cf. P. 32 v. 1 1) probamus.
