Auf Veranlassung der geehrten Verlagshandlung übergebe ich hiermit dem Publicum die von mir in Verbindung mit ge lehrten Freunden herausgegebene Beschreibung der Stadt Bom in einer Kürze bezweckenden Umarbeitung, welche zunächst bestimmt ist, auch dem nicht gelehrten Kreise von Lesern als Führer durch die Merkwürdigkeiten der ewigen Stadt zu dienen und zur Betrachtung derselben eine passende Anleitung zu geben.
