Excerpt from Cornwall Parish Registers, Vol. 17: Marriages
The present volume deals with six parishes on or near the eastern border of the county, and exhausts all the available material in that direction. There is, however, reason to believe that by the time the returns of western parishes, which are in various stages of preparation, have been issued, a fresh supply will be forthcoming from that quarter.
In the preface to the last volume attention was called to the valuable work of Mr. G. Jasper Nicholls in making an index to the Exeter Transcripts. To Mr. Nicholls we are indebted for those portions of the prefatory notes of the several parishes in this volume which deal with those Transcripts.
