Designed to introduce children to the study of anatomy, this illustrated volume begins with general maps of the body, showing the muscles, the skeleton and the position of vital organs. The text then covers the layout of body machinery, including the digestive, respiratory, immune and nervous systems. A full explanation of the function of each system accompanies the illustration.
