A girl and her father are sailing when they are caught in a storm. They become separated and the story tells of the girl's days and nights alone at sea as she drifts in and out of consciousness, dreams and reality. Her only solace is the whales thatseem to accompany her. She gets caught up in the life of the whales and their jouney and has a strange story to tell when she is rescued.
Biografía del autor:
Victor Kelleher was born in London; he lived in Africa for 20 years before moving to New Zealand where he began to write. He has lived in Australia since 1976 and has become an award-winning children's writer. Prizes include the Australian Children's Book of the Year Award and the Australian Science Fiction Achievement Award. Formerly an associate professor, Victor Kelleher now writes full-time.
