Reseña del editor:
Appropriate for Observation in Early Childhood or Assessment in Early Childhood courses, or as a supplement to Child Development or Practicum courses in which observation is a component. Distinct from other books on observation techniques, Beaty's practical text, Observing Development of the Young Child, 6e, presents her unique system of observing and recording child development using an invaluable planning tool, The Child Skills Checklist. This practical, easy-to-use system is based on a progression of children's skill development in six major areas: emotional, social, physical, cognitive, language, and creative. Unique aspects of Observing Development of the Young Child include discussions of how to observe young children, interpret the data recorded, and plan for individuals based on the observations.
