Dr. Morrison's accomplishments include a Distinguished Academic Service Award from the Pennsylvania Department of Education, an Outstanding Alumni Award from the University of Pittsburgh School of Education, an end Outstanding Service and Teaching Awards from Florida International University. Dr. Morrison is the author of many books on early childhood education, child development, curriculum, and teacher education, including Fundamentals of Early Childhood Education, Third Edition, and Teaching in America, Third Edition.
