Críticas:
"Collins is one of the few guys out there who understand how all the pieces fit together - and even more notably, he can explain how they fit together. He's cutting edge on 3G issues but also a network whiz. He should be able to explain better than anyone how the 3G/IP/SS7/Wireless networking voice/data convergence is really going to play out. Do whatever you have to to get him to write these books." Michael Gallagher, Synacom Technology, author of Mobile Telecommunications Networking with IS-41."
Reseña del editor:
This work details day-to-day 3G (third generation) network operation. It explains compatibility problems that service providers experience in making the transition from second generation systems (CDMA 2000, etc) to 2.5 generation systems (WAP, EDGE) and European (WCDMA) versions of the standard. It provides description of network standards (3G equivalents of IS-41 and A-Interface) and covers services supported by CDMA 2000.
