Designed from the ground up to answer these fundamental questions about cardiac care for the primary care practitioner: How do I diagnose? How can I help my patients prevent heart disease? Which diseases should I manage and what are the steps to take? When do I consult with or refer to a cardiologist? What should I watch for if my patient has a cardiovascular condition? How do I educate my patients? What is the most effective and economical course of action? Each chapter is co-authored by a generalists and a cardiologist to ensure the primary care focus is fused with the latest scientific breakthroughs.

Críticas:
"There is definitely a need for this ten-day plan to fit medical student needs in the curriculum. This book is beautifully illustrated with the basics using a vector cardiographic loop approach. There are no references to the text and no index, but this was not the author's intent. There are many other electrocardiographic texts that are very well referenced. This text was designed as a beginner's course in electrocardiography and that challenge is well met. 5 Stars!"--Doody's Review Service (Doody's 2001-01-01)
