An anthology for the whole family in aid of a charity that makes a difference to the lives of so many children throughout the world. With a special introduction by Cat Deeley and afterword by Dermot O’Leary.
War Child was founded in 1993 in response to the plight of children caught in the war in former Yugoslavia. Supporting children of all ages and ethnic backgrounds, it began organising aid convoys of food and clothing, providing medical equipment to hospitals in Croatia and Bosmia, supplying musical instruments and CDs to young people and radio stations. As War Child grew it was able to undertake larger projects in many areas of conflict in the world. War Child works independently or in partnership with other agencies to provide practical and effective aid, concentrating on nutrition, rehabilitation and emergency relief.
