Guidelines for living and sharing our faith in the context of our schools today. "Our Schools and Our Faith" is a consideration of the potential and limitations of Catholic schools. It aims to provide a useful working document for teachers, governors, parents, and others which will encourage and enable them to reflect on and discuss issues of concern and act in ways which will uphold the Catholic character of these schools and meet the particular needs of pupils, staff, families and neighbourhood. "Our Schools and Our Faith" considers the life and ethos of the school-admissions policies, staffing policies and how the school can meet its responsibilities to all who form part of it. The relationship of the school to its partners is also discussed, especially the home and the local church, in the task of Christian formation, as well as some aspects of curriculum, worship, prayer and assembly.
