The subsequent battle of Normandy, which lasted until the end of August, involved over a million men from Britain, the US, Canada, France, Poland and Germany and helped seal the fate of Hitler's Third Reich. The book, in a presentation box, contains 15 facsimile items of rare D-Day memorabilia. Maps, diaries, letters, secret memos and reports, posters and logbooks, are also included. In very good condition, the presentation case is clean with slight wear to the edges. The book is in fine condition with small creases to the top and bottom edges of the spine. The endpapers and pages are clean without marks, tears or inscriptions. All the book pages are in fine condition. Will be dispatched wrapped in bubblewrap and in a cardboard box.
