Full Leather. Later Edition. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 334p. A good copy, the leather covers are worn at the forecorners and a bit scraped, and the spine is somewhat rubbed and there is a tiny piece missing (about the size of a pin head) as the result of a small dig on the spine label. However the spine label is still readable. There is some foxing, especially at the front and back, but the whole book is readable. This copy is a subscription copy and there is a twenty-four page list of subscribers in the back. There were over 2000 subscribers most from New Jersey and most from Essex, Union, Morris, Hunterdon, and Sussex Counties. The subscribers are listed under the town in which they resided. Serle (1742-1812) spent some time in America from 1774 to 1780. "Nowhere does the conviction of the vital importance of Calvinism as of the essence of the gospel appear more strongly than in Serle's books." (DNB.) This book went through many printings, both in England and the United States. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. N° de ref. del artículo 010134
