In the original publisher's glossy pictorial card covers. No dustjacket, as issued. A few light creases to the spine and a very little light wear to the extremities o/w Very Good. Cover illustration in colour = 'Carmarthen Market and Clock Tower' by Edward Morland Lewis. A very slight 'lean' to the whole book from storage (large heavy paperback) . Page fore-edges yellowing a little to the top and fore-edge. NO Inscriptions or Marks. Internally excellent . (xx) + 258 pp. Illustrated in b/w mainly from old photographs. Contents include many and various articles by people "who do not regard themselves as historians, but whose recollections are very much part of history. These reminiscences contain revealing details of everyday life. The contributions vary in subject and scope, but there is one common factor, the inimitable Carmarthenshire humour!". All articles bar c.12 (in Welsh) are in English - the c.12 articles in Welsh include - 'Atgofion am byllau glo'r Gwsgwm a Thrimsaran' by John Emanuel, and 'Llogi tren' by Heulwen Jones . All items posted by Airmail Internationally or by Standard (Second Class) Post in the UK unless requested otherwise. We will post abroad by whatever method you request but the standard is by Airmail.
