ELM-LEAF BEETLE IN NEW YORK STATE. by Ephraim Porter Felt, issued by the New York State Museum in June of 1898, was the acting state entomologist's report on the life history and habits of the Elm-Leaf Beetle( Galerucella luteola - Muller, Order Coleoptera, Family Chrysomelidae), as well as a history of its devastating effects on the elm trees of New York State, and the then current efforts to control the blight and spread of the beetles.
