K. Rajagopal, Ph.D., is currently the Professor and Head of the Physics Department at Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli. He received his M.Sc. degree from Madras University and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai in the field of Non-Linear Optics. He has more than 32 years of experience of Teaching Physics to Undergraduate Engineering students. Dr. K. Rajagopal has published more than 50 research papers in reputed International and National journals. He has successfully completed two major research projects from AICTE, Delhi, and DRDO, Avadi, Chennai. His name has been included in the 27th edition (1999) of dictionary of International Biography published by the International Biographical Center, Cambridge as well as in the Who's Who in the World, 15th edition (1998) published by Marquis Publishers, USA.
