The objective of ˜Physics II, the Gymnasium of the Mind' is to accomplish, through carefully selected analyzed phenomenon's and an adequate didactic design of activities, that the students become excited when they realize that they can learn Physics, that the abilities and the knowledge learned allows them to grow intellectually, socially and emotionally, and at the same time they can perceive and enjoy the world of physics and technology, that was previously unknown.

Josip Slisko, originally from Bosnia and Herzegovnia, is a Doctor in Philosophical Sciences, a professor and researcher at the School of Physics-Mathematical Sciences at the Honorable Autonomous University of Puebla, Mexico since 1991. He is a member of the National Research System since 1994, and has been a panelist in various countries, such as Germany, Argentina, Croatia, Slovenia, Spain, The United States, Finland, Italy, Poland and the United Kingdom. He is the author of hundreds of articles in numerous scientific magazines, both national and international, he is an educative consultant for the 8th edition of the legendary book, Conceptual Physics, by Paul G. Hewitt, and he organized the teams for the Spanish version of the famous ‘Videoencyclopedia of Physics Demonstrations', which contains over 600 demonstrations of Physics on 25 DVD's. He has been on the organizing committee international workshop of ‘New Developments of the Teaching of Physics' since 1993.
