Descripción Hardcover. Condición: New. Like almost no other artist of his generation, Canadian Jeff Wall (born in 1946) has focused on the potential of artistic composition, the boundaries between the genres of painting, photography, sculpture, and film, fiction and reality. His first European solo exhibition was held in Munich in 1984, and his first monograph titled Transparencies was published here two years later. Our book appears in conjunction with an exhibition at the Pinakothek der Moderne, featuring twenty exceptional works by Wall from public and private collections in Munich. Its aim is to take a fresh look at Wall's oeuvre, which has been so influential and had such an international impact, and to allow his works to be experienced in light of the recognition of photography as an art form. --- --- --- 120 Seiten, 20 Tafeln 32 Abbildungen in Farbe.
