Miller's Window - Tapa blanda

Ron Doyle and Gerry Miller find an abandoned streetcar which has a strange window lost in the times when the streetcar was new. They are awed by their discovery but reluctant to slip through the window. The strange window is mostly forgotten. Until Gerry Miller disappears. While the police have looked in all the usual places, Doyle looks for his friend in newspaper obituary files and finds that his friend has managed to slip back in time to Pearl Harbor. Doyle realizes that he might just be able to get back into the past in time to save his friend from certain death. Ron Doyle manages to save Gerry Miller, yet they return to their own time to find that things have changed. They had saved the lives of others as well as Gerry, and they are forced to deal with the consequences of their good deeds.
