Sandra Custard is a native of Mississippi and is the former Sandra Clemmons of Columbus. She is the mother of one daughter, Monica Yates of Bristol, TN, one son, Brian Custard of Columbus, and the grandmother of three girls. She and her husband, Ken, are active members of Woodland Baptist Church in Columbus. Like most Christians, she is no stranger to trials, disappointments, temptations and battle scars, but believes that every experience for the Christian is intended to teach us to walk by faith and not by sight, and to bring us into a closer walk with the Lord. For those who are searching for peace, purpose and fulfillment in their lives, she offers hope in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. Her poem, "Expressions," perhaps best sums up her love of writing.
