Two Women - Tapa blanda

Poetry. TWO WOMEN comes out of ONE WOMAN SHOW WITH TWO WOMEN, a performance work which was originally based on the poems in the book. The piece was presented at the Artist's Gym in Los Angeles in April of 1999. This work intertwines the stories of two women who have led different lives but reach similar conclusions. These writer-performers share their unique realities as they grow from girls to women, searching for their own truths, and shattering the notion of happily ever after that exists in both their imaginations and in ours. Both Jennifer Haft and Shannah Laumeister have extensive film and television credits and both belong to the Los Angeles Poets and Writers Collective.
