Text in Latin interspersed with full-color plates reproducing the original paintings hanging in the Royal Library of Windsor Castle. 990 copies printed, of which this is number 163. Volume II is a bi-lingual (German and English) translation with commentary on the facsimile prepared by Elisabeth Rucker and William Stearn with additional illustrations, maps, and images. The facsimile volume I is bound in full green morocco with pale silk moire endpapers; the commentary volume II is bound with the same green morocco spine over matching cloth-covered boards with textured cream endpapers.
