Descripción Hardcover. Condición: Near Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good. 1st Edition. Stated First Edition. Signed and inscribed on the first front end paper. ('To Art, For the mill!/ Best Wishes, John Blessington'). First editions of this book are few and there is only one other signed copy for sale on the Internet, however that one is in pretty rough shape. You can see the covers of my book in the photographs provided. They are very clean and the wear is quite minimal, a few tiny bumps. There is no foxing. This book is very solidly bound, absolutely no issues in that regard. And the pages are exceptionally clean and in excellent condition, without any creasing or dogeared corners. Nor are there any markings or attachments. And with the exception of the author's signed inscription, no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. You can see the dust jacket in the first few photographs. It has some minor wear, small tear off the top edge of the front, a couple of close tears on the spine and very slight handling soiling on the rear. There's some crinkling at the spine ends and a little sun toning of the spine. The jacket is NOT price-clipped, not clipped at all. The flaps are in very good condition. The jacket will be fitted with a protective cover. From the rear dust jacket flap 'If you can teach your child to tie his shoelaces and care for his room, you are competent. If you can explain to him about fire and rain and about the moon and sky, you are a fine teacher. If you can reason away his fears and explain your own actions toward him, you are great. If you allow your child to question and fail, while giving him all your support in this process of becoming able, you are wonderful. And when, on top of that, you love him and show it, you don't need a Ph.D. You are all he needs as a parent-educator, and each of you will be able to supplement through the schools all the general education your child needs for survival and growth and joy.'.
